The 26 Energy Balance Points
There are 26 Energy Balance Points in Jin Shin Jyutsu, and each has a specific purpose to help your whole body find and experience balance and harmony. You’ll learn where each point lives, what it does, and how to use it for yourself — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
The Three Foundational Flows
We’ll move through the three flows that form the backbone of daily self-care: the Anterior Flow (Stomach Flow), the General Energy Flow (Spleen Flow), and the Posterior Flow (Bladder Flow). These flows are your foundation — and once you know them, you’ll use them for life.
An Introduction to the Six Depths
The 26 Energy Balance Points live within Six Depths of energy in the body — like layers of an onion, each with its own purpose, emotion, element, and organ flows. In Level 1 we give you a meaningful overview of the depths so you can begin to understand what your body is telling you. Level 2 takes this much deeper.
Supporting Body Systems
We’ll explore how the Jin Shin Jyutsu approach supports the body’s whole network of systems — immune, lymphatic, adrenal, endocrine, and nervous systems — so they can work together in harmony to take care of you.
Reflexology Basics & The Big Eight
You’ll be introduced to foundational reflexology principles that complement energy balancing, plus The Big Eight — simple standing exercises that connect with your meridians and channels to encourage further balance and flow. Time permitting, we’ll also explore the foot pages from your Energy Balancing Care Guide.
Animal Energy Points
The same 26 Energy Balance Points that live on your body also live on animals — and we’ll show you how to use them. A Horse Energy Points diagram is included so you can extend this practice to the furry friends in your life.

You’ll discover the Natural Antibiotic Flow — a powerful sequence to proactively boost your immune system — and learn how Energy Balance Point #5 can help relieve pain anywhere in the body, in yourself and in the people you love.

The Stomach Flow harmonizes breath, eases communication, relieves knee and leg pain, and gently releases confusion, anxiety, and depression.

You’ll explore the Third Depth and Energy Balance Points #16 through #22 — seven points that collaborate remarkably to support your whole energy body. You’ll discover how Jin Shin Jyutsu points correspond with the Seven Chakras and how holding your points actively supports Chakra balancing. And you’ll experience the Source of Life Flow — connecting right and left, front and back, top and bottom in one unified practice.

Experience
Not at all. GPS Level 1 is designed as a complete foundation — the starting point for everyone, regardless of background. Whether you’ve never heard of Jin Shin Jyutsu or you’ve been curious about energy work for years, you’ll begin exactly where you are. Your body already knows how to respond. You just need the map.
Recordings
Every session is recorded and made available to you after class. You can watch at your own pace, revisit any technique, and never fall behind. That said, there’s something special about learning live — the energy in the room, Deborah teaching in real time, the ability to ask questions as they arise. We encourage you to join live whenever you can.
Time
GPS Level 1 asks for two hours per week for five weeks — that’s it. The self-help techniques you’ll learn take just minutes to practice, and most people find them easy to weave into a morning routine, a lunch break, or a quiet moment before bed. This course is built for real life, not an ideal one.
